The congregation of Emaus ELCA was originally founded in 1851 in Racine, Wisconsin. Since then we have occupied three different buildings in as many neighborhoods. We pride ourselves as welcoming our neighbors, all of them. We started out as a Danish/Norwegian congregation and now we are an Anglo/Latino congregation.
